Exhibits › Mainely Creative › Permanent Art Installation, New Wing of the Maine Medical Center
Information
Six large digital prints on canvas created by Bob Barancik were selected by noted hospital art consultant Pam Wilkins-Horowitz and the hospital’s own Arts in Healthcare committee for permanent installation in the $170 million new wing of the Maine Medical Center in Portland.
Bob’s artwork is installed in a panoramic, 100-foot glass-walled corridor with views of the back bay and mountains. This heavily trafficked passageway connects the garage structure to the new state-of-the-art healthcare facilities.
The prints express Barancik’s love of Maine’s rugged coast, tranquil farmlands, and deeply forested mountain ranges.
